The
quail is common to most temperate areas of the world. They
are a member of the pheasant family and can be distinguished
by the top notch on it's head. It can fly but prefers to
spend most of it's time on the ground where it forages for
seeds and insects. A popular delicacy at many exotic
restaurants, the quail can be a tasty treat if prepared
properly.
The overall length with the bracket is approximately
28 inches. The longest chime rod measures 9 inches.
The bracket comes
complete with two stainless steel screws for mounting and will
never rust even in harsh and salty maritime climates.
