Manatee's are large aquatic mammals that can be found in the
shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. They are most common
in the waters around Florida. They have a paddle shaped tail
which is distinctly different than other aquatic mammals.
Manatee's are on the endangered list and are therefore
protected. They are herbivores, and as such, only eat
vegetation. Our manatee wind chime has a mother and baby
manatee depicted on the top support and a manatee on the
wind catcher.
The overall length with the bracket is approximately
16 inches and is ideal for those who have limited space to
hang a chime. The longest chime rod measures 5 inches.
The bracket comes
complete with two stainless steel screws for mounting and will
never rust even in harsh and salty maritime climates.
