Kokopelli was a deity in the eyes of many native Indians who resided in the South West. Kokopelli was overseer for fertility, the growth of crops, and many arts such as music. Depictions of Kokopelli usually have him playing a flute or other wood wind instrument. Our kokopelli wind chime is modeled after this traditional figure. The top casting of the kokopelli chime is a casting of kokopelli playing a flute. The wind sail has a similat casting.
