The Koala Bear is indigenous to Australia. It tends to spend a great deal of it's time sleeping and is rather inactive. The Koala Bear is not actually a member of the bear family. It is more akin to opossums since it is a marsupial. Koalas dine on eucalyptus leaves, which is amazing because these leaves are poisonous. The Koala has developed a tolerance from the toxin. Our Koala bear wind chime is inspired by this great animal. The chime features a casting of a koala bear for the top support and a casting of a mother and baby koala bear on the wind sail.
