The
Chickadee is a tame, rather small bird that can be found
foraging for seeds and insects in fields or around bird
feeders. It is a busy bird and tends to hang upside down
when looking for food. The Chickadee has a diverse vocal
repertoire and can make over 10 different distinct calls. It
is common to most regions of the United States.
The overall length with the bracket is approximately
28 inches. The longest chime rod measures 9 inches.
The bracket comes
complete with two stainless steel screws for mounting and will
never rust even in harsh and salty maritime climates.
