The
Cardinal lives in tropical and sub-tropical areas and is
common from Mexico to the mid-Eastern United States. It
tends to nest in tall reeds where it weaves it's nest within
the tall plumes. It eats nuts, seeds, and berries as a
normal diet. It's brilliant color is magnified by the
consumption of berries from the holly tree.
The overall length with the bracket is approximately
16 inches and is ideal for those who have limited space to
hang a chime. The longest chime rod measures 5 inches.
The bracket comes
complete with two stainless steel screws for mounting and will
never rust even in harsh and salty maritime climates.
