Beavers have always been trapped for their soft, luxurious
fur. Once common in the Northwest, the beaver has lost much
of it's breeding territory to urban growth and family
home construction. The fur trade industry has been impeded
in recent years because of environmental concerns so the
decline of beaver has leveled off a bit. The beaver is one
of nature's wonders and should be protected at some level.
Our beaver chime pays tribute to this energetic aquatic
animal.
The overall length with the bracket is approximately
16 inches and is ideal for those who have limited space to
hang a chime. The longest chime rod measures 5 inches.
The bracket comes
complete with two stainless steel screws for mounting and will
never rust even in harsh and salty maritime climates.
