The wild forget-me-not is the official state flower for the state of Alaska. Blue in color, this perennial flower grows in alpine regions and is abundant during the summer months. It is a relatively low growing plant at 5 to 12 inches high. It was officially made the state flower in 1949. Our Alaska State Flower chime pays tribute to this great state. Our Alaska state flower wind chime is ornamented with a basket of state flowers cast into the top support.
